Mandarin essential oil has an affinity with the nervous system and has a gentle calming and uplifting aroma, which may be useful for work with the nervous system. May prove supportive when dealing with overthinking and worry.
Skin
Stretch marks and scar tissue may benefit from the use of Mandarin essential oil, as well as dull skin. Could also be useful when dealing with acne, oily and problem skin.
Digestive system
Supportive oil for working with the digestive system when applied topically.
Lymphatic System

For use with the nervous system
Rollerball
Using Mandarin essential oil in a rollerball is a wonderful way to benefit from it’s gentle calming and uplifting aroma
In a 15ml empty rollerball bottle, combine Mandarin essential oil with 10ml of suitable carrier oil. Between 2-5 drops depending on the site of application.
Maximum of 2 drops if wanting to apply to the face, such as on the temples.
For bodily application up to 5 drops is appropriate.
Blends well with most other essential oils.
For use with the skin
Soothe and smoothe body oil
The lymphatic system may benefit from applying a body oil blend including Mandarin essential oil. This is best applied after body brushing and could help support a healthy lymphatic system.
Blend Mandarin essential oil with any other oils of your choice Into 25ml of carrier oil.
The dilution ratio will be 2-3% (12-15 drops) in 25ml of carrier oil for adults bodily application.
For elderly people, those with sensitive skin, or those with medical conditions a 1% dilution (5 drops) is needed.
For use with the digestive system
Soothing Tummy Oil
Mandarin works so well as part of a soothing digestive stomach massage oil blend.
Blend Mandarin essential oil and any other oils of your choice Into 25ml of carrier oil.
The dilution ratio will be 2-3% (12-15 drops) in 25ml of carrier oil for adults bodily application.
Massage gently in a clockwise direction and this may help to encourage and support a normal movement and function of the digestive system.
For elderly people, those with sensitive skin, or those with medical conditions a 1% dilution (5 drops) is needed.
For use with the Lymphatic System
Body Oil
The Lymphatic system may benefit from applying a body oil blend including Mandarin essential oil. This is best applied after body brushing and could encourage a healthy lymphatic system.
