Nervous System
Clary sage essential oil may help to strengthen and reassure emotionally. It is a tonifying, warming and sedating oil. It could assist with feelings of wellbeing and calmness and strengthen vitality.
Reproductive System
Can be used supportively with the reproductive system. May encourage a balanced and normally functioning reproductive system. Is regarded as a tonic to the reproductive system.
Circulatory System
May assist with a normal and healthily functioning circulatory system and could have a sedative action on stress related circulatory presentations.
The following ways to use the essential oil should help you to get the most benefit from the oil.
For use with the Nervous System
Diffuser Method
Add between 3-8 drops (depending on room size) of Clary Sage essential oil to the surface of the water in your diffuser. Or onto the pad in fan-driven vaporisers. Replenish as needed. May be combined in a blend with other essential oils up to the maximum amount of drops. Blends well with most other essential oils.
For use with the Reproductive System
Soothing Tummy Oil
Clary Sage works so well as part of a soothing tummy massage oil blend.
Blend with any other oils of your choice Into 25ml of carrier oil.
The dilution ratio will be 2-3% (12-15 drops) in 25ml of carrier oil for adults bodily application.
For elderly people, those with sensitive skin, or those with medical conditions a 1% dilution (5 drops) is needed
For use with the Circulatory System
Massage Oil
Clary Sage essential oil could be beneficial for the circulatory system when used as part of an invigorating body massage oil blend. The massage is also a valuable tool when hoping to support and improve the circulatory system in those that are suitable for massage therapy.
Blend with any other oils of your choice Into 25ml of carrier oil.
The dilution ratio will be a maximum dermal limit of 0.6% (3 drops) in 25ml of carrier oil for adults bodily application.
